TAMARIND
BENEFITS

Tamarind is a pod like fruit grown from a tamarind tree and originates from Sudan in Africa.
It is now cultivated in South Asia where it has the largest consumption and production. 
Tamarind is a source of antioxidants
Antioxidants are man-made or natural substances that may prevent or delay some types of cell damage.
tamarind can help to reduce fever and aids in digestion.
It also acts a natural anti-septic and a mild laxative.
Tamarind can also heal skin inflammation, sunburn and surface wounds.

In Thai cuisine, TAMARIND has an important role.
It can be found in some of our dishes cooked in our restaurant, such as:
